Alyson Shute Evett is an attorney with Montgomery Little & Soran. Her practice is focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate litigation and corporate/business law. From time to time, Ms. Evett also assists with family law and criminal law matters.
Prior to working at the firm, Ms. Evett served as a deputy district attorney at the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office. During her three years as a prosecutor, Ms. Evett honed her advocacy skills by handling a variety of cases ranging from traffic offenses and misdemeanors all the way up to the most serious felony cases, including first degree murder. In addition to trying over forty jury trials, Ms. Evett negotiated countless others to reach a fair and just resolution. She hopes to put all of these skills to work to achieve the best result for each and every client.
Ms. Evett graduated from Vermont Law School in 2018. During her time in law school, she also took steps to improve her advocacy skills, earning a position on the Moot Court team. Ms. Evett interned with the Washington County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Civil Rights Unit at the Attorney Generals office, the South Royalton Legal Clinic, and the Denver District Attorney’s Office while in law school.
Ms. Evett is originally from San Diego, California, and earned her undergraduate degree in International Business at Biola University. In her free time, Ms. Evett enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
Ms. Evett is licensed to practice in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Arapahoe Bar Association.
