Ms. Piazza has extensive experience in secured loan transactions; asset-based lending and preparation of commercial loan documents; loan workouts and restructuring; creditor’s rights and bankruptcy; representation of financial institutions in lender liability actions; commercial and residential real estate transactions; land use and development; negotiation and drafting of leases, licenses, easements, and other real estate-related documents; business planning; contract negotiation and drafting; and purchase and sale of businesses including closing preparation and facilitation.
Ms. Piazza is a member of the American, Colorado, and Denver Bar Associations. She has presented to the Colorado Court of Appeals on the topic of lender liability, has served as legal counsel for the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, and frequently contributes her time to the Special Needs District Board of the Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
