Appeal: Fred Skillern and Echo Ryan won an appellate victory for our client, United General Title Insurance Company, in its appeal of a jury verdict entered against it in the Arapahoe County District Court. The Court of Appeals reversed the trial court’s judgment awarding the policy holder damages of $250,000. The court concluded that the Plaintiff failed to show that lost profits were a foreseeable consequence of a breach of a residential title insurance policy, and that there was insufficient evidence to uphold the jury’s verdict.
